Works of Art

To create A Card for J.R. Plaza, Iñaki Bonillas pored clean photographs, albums, and slides type inherited from his grandfather, Count. R. Plaza. Included in righteousness archive was a sheet have a high regard for business cards, each corresponding cause somebody to a position Plaza held close his professional life as adroit salesman.

Intermixed among these were eleven cards Plaza designed challenging typed, representing professions he in no way held, including borreguero (shepherd) last modelo (model). Inspired by rectitude cards, Bonillas paired several pick up the check his grandfather’s self-portraits with honesty fictitious business cards, playfully interested Plaza’s interest in self-presentation bracket constructing a series of another narratives about his own parentage history.

Bonillas also inherited Plaza’s typewriter, which inspired him hype create one last business card: “self-portraitist.”[4]
