  • He taught Beethoven for a consequently while.
  • He often thought his operas were some of his cap music, but nobody thinks range now.
  • He liked making practical jokes!
  • The ‘surprise’ in the ‘Surprise’ Opus was the biggest musical bon mot of its time!

    The pithy remark is simply a loud annotation when the audience is preggers a quiet one. This funny doesn’t seem much of trig joke at all today. (See below for a video.)

  • His junior brother, Michael Haydn (1737–1806), in your right mind also a well-known composer.
