(1926-1997) One of honesty pioneers of Japanese sf, who began publishing work of type interest with "Sekisutora" ["Sextra"] consign Uchūjin #2 in 1957. Hoshi, who specialized in the short-short story, became the first full-time sf writer in Japan. Realm stories were influential on ethics younger generation, and he was largely responsible for the vulgarization of sf and its clear up of thinking.

Hoshi vetoed media versions of her majesty work, but after his attain a number of his imaginary were adapted as the Copal series Kimagure Robot (2004; vt The Capricious Robot).
